Let the government know that we will no longer sit back and take the bullying and harassment from Customs and Revenue officers any longer.  We accept that tax has to be collected, but must be done so by fairer means.

It’s time to stand up and be counted. VRT is a tax which flies in the face of everything that the EU was intended for. It also penalises Irish motorists and  it’s enforcement denies us our civil liberties under our own constitution. Everyone in Ireland pays VRT, not just those who buy a car in the north or UK.

Even if you’ve bought a second hand car, VRT has already inflated it’s price from initial purchase.
